Andrew Allshorn (Europe Ambassador)
Andy Allshorn is a long-time proponent of the additive manufacturing and 3D printing industry. His career working with and implementing additive technologies spans three decades. Since 2007, Andy has run his own successful consultancy business, At 3D-Squared, a company that provides dedicated and strategic support services for organizations involved with AM to maximize the technology’s capabilities.
Andy has an exceptional breadth and depth of knowledge of the software, hardware and materials aspects that must be combined to generate best practices and results with AM. Moreover, Andy’s knowledge is augmented by a pragmatic and personable approach when applying his expertise for the benefit of others.
With unprecedented access to numerous industrial sectors, including automotive and aerospace, Andy’s experience and expertise have seen him invited to participate in various global events and summits. In 2016, Andy’s distinguished work in the AM sector was recognized by AMUG when he was awarded the exclusive Distinguished INnovator Operator (DINO) Award.
Dror Danai (Middle East Ambassador)
Dror Danai, XJET chief business officer, has 25 years of management experience in international business strategy and operations.
His impressive skillset has enabled him to launch new technological revolutions, having led some of the most important breakthroughs in both classic (2D) and 3D printing (additive manufacturing). Combining an impressive mixture of capabilities from product design, engineering, global marketing and high level business development and sales, Dror takes companies from startup stage through to full business maturity.
Dror’s extensive career includes leading the business of Objet Geometries for 10 years (later merged with Stratasys) from the early startup stage and into a global success (over $100M in annual revenue).
Dror holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and an MBA, both with Honors, from the Tel-Aviv University, and as a Major in the Israeli Defense Forces, he was the leader of Talpiot, the supreme military Academy.
Stefan Ritt (Global Ambassador)

After earning his engineering degree in technical physics from the University of Applied Science in Lübeck, Germany, Stefan Ritt started his career in RP/AM in 1985 when running a prototype lab in the R&D arm of a coffee and vending machine company. After that, he held positions in QA and product management for mid-sized Dutch and Danish companies. In 1998, Stefan took on international sales and marketing of RP tooling products for a UK/German joint venture. In this capacity, he was successful in international markets with the development and support of the transition of RPT and metal AM equipment into production equipment. Stefan has also worked for SLM Solutions where he continued his efforts to grow the metal AM market internationally. There he could manage to bring the first powder-bed Laser metal printer on display at an AMUG-conference.
He has also worked for SPEE3D, which brings another new metal AM technology for production into the market, as their European managing director. He is a part-time lecturer for supply chain management at the technical university of Lübeck and guest lecturer for international business communication in marketing at the Technical University in Hamburg.
In 2011, he was appointed as the European liaison officer and global ambassador for AMUG. As he travels around the world, he spreads the news about AMUG activities to expand the awareness of the users group in global markets. In 2015 he was awarded the AMUG-DINO for his continuous support and involvement for the user group and industry. Every year he brings the latest news, trends and future outlooks of the AM industry from around the world to the audience at the AMUG Conference.
Graham Tromans (Europe and Asia Ambassador)
GP Tromans Associates
Graham Tromans is an industry consultant and president of G P Tromans Associates, an independent additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping and 3D printing consultancy. He has been involved with the additive technologies since 1990 when he was instrumental in the development and technology application acceptance with Rover Group, working with companies such as Land Rover, BMW, Aston Martin, Ford Volvo, Bentley Cars, Boeing Aircraft, British Aerospace, F1 racing, NASCAR, Rolls Royce, Perkins Engines, JCB and many others. He was also responsible for setting up the Land Rover facility and was an advisor to Jaguar Cars in the setting up of their facility.
He has represented the UK Government’s Department of Trade and Industry on Overseas Science and Technology Experts Missions to both USA and Japan, looking at the developments in RP/AM technology and applications. He has presented numerous papers in USA, Japan, China and Europe.
He is editor of the book “Developments In Rapid Casting,” which is published by The Institute of Mechanical Engineers in London, and is also a chapter author in the book “Rapid Manufacturing – An Industrial Revolution For The Digital Age,” primarily focusing on automotive and motorsports applications.
In 2007 Graham became a Master-Level Rapid Technologies & Additive Manufacturing Certificate holder, presented by the SME, USA: the first and only person to be awarded it in the UK to date. He has also been awarded the “Double” DINO (Distinguished INnovator Operator) Award, in both SLA and SLS by the 3D Systems Users Group, recognizing his long term contributions to both technologies.
Graham is currently an adviser to a number of industry associations and media/event outlets, and has held a number of positions including being past chair of the Rapid Technologies & Additive Manufacturing (RTAM) Steering Committee and chair of The Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Association UK.
He was also ranked in the Top 25 In The World’s most influential people in Additive Manufacturing in the TCT magazine readers survey in 2007 and in 2012 was still ranked in the Top 25 in the World’s most influential people in additive Manufacturing, he was also the magazine’s editor’s choice in this survey.
He is chief consultant to the Chinese 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance and more recently he was officially appointed consultant to the Qingdao 3D Printing High Technology Zone and chairman of the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance Council in China.
In June 2014, at the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference and Exhibition in Qingdao, China, he was awarded the World 3D Printing Industry Outstanding Contributor Award.
In February 2017,he was also invited to be a member of The TCT Group Expert Advisory Board.
In 2010, he was invited to take up the position of Global Ambassador for the AMUG in Europe and Asia.
