Election Process at the AMUG Conference

The Elections open on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 9:00 am local time and close on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm local time. The results will be provided at the official AMUG business meeting Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 am local time.

The primary method for casting votes will be through the AMUG mobile app. However, paper ballots will be made available on request.

All written or electronic ballots shall also indicate the number of responses needed to meet the quorum requirement and, except for ballots soliciting votes for the election of Directors, shall state the percentage of approvals necessary to pass the measure submitted. The ballots must specify the time by which they must be received by the Corporation in order to be counted.  The results of the election shall be announced at the annual business meeting during the annual Users Group Conference.


Once elected, new members of the Board of Directors are integrated into the Board of Directors communications and activities that occur between the time of the election and the time they are installed at the annual Meeting of the Board of Directors in July.  An orientation session for the Board of Directors is conducted each July at the annual meeting of the Board of Directors that takes place in -person.
