AMUG presented Elizabeth Goode of Goode Ink with its President’s Award. Goode, The eighth to receive this prestigious award, she is an additive manufacturing veteran and owner of Goode Ink, which provides consulting services for marketing and strategy.
AMUG has presented its prestigious DINO (Distinguished INnovator Operator) Award for additive manufacturing expertise and service to 10 individuals. The awards were presented at the 31st annual users group conference held in Chicago, Illinois.
A panel of AM industry veterans selected Erika Berg of Carbon, Maddie Frank of the University of Wisconsin, and Bill Braune of Met-L-Flo as the winners of AMUG’s annual Technical Competition.
Wenchao Zhou, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the Department of Engineering at the University of Arkansas (U of A), has been awarded the Randy Stevens Scholarship. Victoria Sears, who is pursuing a master’s degree in bioengineering at the University of Michigan (UM), has been awarded the Guy E. Bourdeau Scholarship.
The Innovators Award will be presented at the 2019 AMUG Conference, following Professor Levy’s onstage appearance during the conference’s Innovators Showcase.
