Transportation Guide

The conference will take place at the Harrah’s Atlantic City Resort & Casino, which is located at 777 Harrah’s Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.

Parking

If staying at the hotel under the AMUG room block, self-parking at the hotel is free. Optionally, you can elect to valet park for only $50 per stay.

The rate for all others is $15–$20 per day (self-park) or $25–$40 per day (valet).

Philadelphia  International Airport (PHL)
  • Distance from Harrah’s Atlantic City Resort & Casino: 65 miles
      • Drive time: approximately 1 hour
  • Transportation to/from Harrah’s Resort
    • AMUG-arranged bus service
    • Price: $80/person (one-way)
    • Availability*
      • Sunday, March 14, at 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 pm
      • Friday, March 19, at 8:30 and 11:00 am
    • Reservations

Alternatives to/from Harrah’s Resort

  • Train (NJ Transit—www.njtransit.com)
    • Atlantic City Rail Line
      • Departs from the 30th Street Station (will need transportation from PHL to station)
      • Arrives at the Atlantic City Rail Station (free AC Jitney shuttle service to hotel is available)
    • Departures: Approximately every 1.5 hours from 6:00 am to 1:00 am
    • Price: Approximately $10.75 (each way)
  • Bus (NJ Transit—www.njtransit.com)
    • Route 551
      • Departs from the 6th & Race Street terminal (will need transportation from PHL to station)
      • Arrives at the Atlantic City Bus Terminal (AC Jitney shuttle service to hotel is available)
    • Departures: Approximately every 1.0 hour around the clock
    • Price: Approximately $24.00 (round trip with 10 day excursion pass)
  • Rideshare
    • Time: Approximately 1 hour
    • Price: Approximately $175 (each way)

  By Air (alternatives to PHL)

Atlantic City International Airport (ACY)
  • Distance from Harrah’s Atlantic City Resort & Casino: 12 miles
      • Drive time: approximately 20 minutes
        • The hotel does not offer shuttle service to/from the airport.
        • Please arrange a rideshare or cab.

ACY is a small, regional airport serviced only by Allegiant, Breeze and American Airlines.

Please note that American Airlines does not fly directly to or from ACY. Instead, it provides bus service (with baggage checked through to your destination) connecting Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to ACY.

Newark Liberty  International Airport (EWR)
  • Distance from Harrah’s Atlantic City Resort & Casino: 120 miles
      • Drive time: approximately 2 hours
LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
  • Distance from Harrah’s Atlantic City Resort & Casino: 140 miles
      • Drive time: approximately 2.5–3.0 hours
JFK Airport (JFK)
  • Distance from Harrah’s Atlantic City Resort & Casino: 140 miles
      • Drive time: approximately 3.0–3.5 hours
