Reno is ideal for an extended stay before or after the AMUG Conference.

Known as the “Biggest Little City in the World,” Reno has evolved from a gaming tourism hub to a vibrant center for arts, culture, and food.

Close to Lake Tahoe, Reno offers numerous ski resorts, hiking trails, and other outdoor adventures. With endless activities, it’s hard to be bored in Reno’s high desert city.

Grand Sierra Resort (GSR)

GSR offers lots of amenities and room rates for AMUG guests of just $159/night.

The GSR pool — Reno’s best resort pool — will be open daily and heated to a comfortable 85 °F.

    • Fly into Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) – less than 10 minutes to GSR and the hotel provides shuttle service.
    • Looking for a scenic, leisurely option? Hop on the California Zephyr (train) in Sacramento or Chicago and arrive at the Reno Amtrack station, just 10 minutes from the hotel.
